Lincoln Park Hope Center

 

 

 

The Hope Center runs entirely from financial and material donations by local churches and individuals.  Our desire is to provide items to those in need free of charge.  This means, however, that we depend heavily on the participation of others.  In our vision for this ministry that is not a hurdle to be overcome.  It is the very reason we exist.  We seek opportunities to "bridge" the local churches to those in need and to "bridge" those in need to a local church where they can be ministered to more comprehensively.

If you desire to partner with us there are several ways you can do so.

Monetary

If you wish to make a monetary gift please make your check out to the "Lincoln Park Hope Center" and mail to our address (2331 W. 3rd St. Duluth, MN 55806) or drop it off during business hours (Thur 10:00-1:00 pm).

We gladly welcome donations of gently used items of clothing, household goods, and furniture.  We are not able, however, to accept the following...

Televisions, computers, computer monitors

 

Entertainment Centers

 

Large appliances

• Oven, refrigerator, washer, dryer, dish washer, etc.

 

Beds, mattresses, box springs

 

Soft Furniture

• Couches, arm chairs, etc.

 

Hazardous materials

• Batteries, paint, chemicals, poisons, cleaning products, any liquids

 

Construction materials

• Doors, windows, screens, carpeting, cabinets, etc.

 

Auto parts

• Tires, fluids, fenders, batteries, etc.

 

Car Seats – child and infant

Volunteer

We would love to have you come and see our ministry personally.  We believe it is the best way to understand the need and the means by which we are seeking to meet it.  We are a Christian ministry supported by four local, evangelical churches.  However, we welcome volunteers from any or no faith background.  If you are interested please call or email us.
